We live in a highly photographed world. We don’t always have control over when we’ll be ambushed by a camera , however we can make sure our make-up is photo ready at all times. (*giggle*)
We’ve got for you tips that would never make you look tired and washed .
CLEANSE YOUR EYES :
The clearer your eyes are , the brighter the rest of your face will look. Cleanse them with eye drops before you start applying make-up .
PREP YOUR SKIN :
After washing your face , put a thin sheet mask for 10-15 mins. Another alternative would be applying generous amounts of moisturiser.
FOUNDATION RULES :
Make sure your foundation matches the exact colour of your skin. You want something with light to medium coverage .
CONCEAL CAREFULLY :
Use your ring finger to lightly tap a small amount of concealer where ever the need be.
HIGHLIGHT STRATEGICALLY :
Fake the effects of flattering light by dabbing a pearly shadow or highlighter along the top of the cheekbones , down the bridge of your nose and the inner corner of your eyes.
DARKEN YOUR BROWS :
Choose a pencil or a powder that is one shade darker than your actual brows and apply along the shape in short strokes.
ATTENTION TO THE EYES :
Put a neutral eye -shadow onto your eyelids. Apply dark eyeliner and finish by curling your lashes and add two coats of mascara.
APPLY BLUSH TO YOUR CHEEKS :
Apply blush to the hollows of your cheeks and then blend it up towards your cheekbones.
FINISH IT OFF WITH RED LIPS :
For a better photo, stick to a brighter cherry red and add a touch of gloss to the middle of your bottom lip to give it a pumped effect.
